Attendance is reviewed as a component of the middle school application process. Additionally, attendance is considered in the yearly grade and annual progress as mandated through legislation. 10 consecutive missed days will result in your child being unenrolled from school.
When a child arrives after 7:30am, he/she is tardy. A tardy between 7:30 and 7:45am will be recorded by the classroom teacher. Children who arrive later that 7:45am must check in at the office for a tardy pass. Excessive tardiness will be reported to TPS Enrollment Center.
make up work
A student absent fewer than two days will receive all make-up work upon his/her return to school. You may call the office to request homework if your student is absent more than two days. Students have the same number of days to turn in missed work as they were absent.
